The religious musical style “Gospel” begins gaining large fame at Angolan market, said Friday a pastor of the African Missionary Church (IMA).
Rui Chapunda, who was speaking to Angop on the Gospel show by the international renown Brazilian musician, Klebar Lucas, said that the Angolan market has never enjoyed the reception of gospel music like currently.
According to the church authority, Angola has generated gospel musicians of quality, who may take the name of the country at the international arena in relation with this kind of music.
“Today we can already see Angolan singers like Bambila, Sister Sofia and Celso Mambo to fill the show halls,” he said.
According to Rui Chapunda, Gospel music is also a strategic point for the mental change in people with indecent behaviours, mainly youth.
