About the Team

Rob Strobel

Rob Strobel is the program producer and presenter. Having worked in the Entertainment industry since leaving school, Rob has been at the center of music management for over ten years.

Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Rob moved to the United Kingdom in 1999 and slowly developed a passion for music, especially live music. Being involved in the entertainment industry, Rob became directly involved in the development and management of the Coors Battle of the Bands in South Wales, and as a result became involved in the management of a number of young bands in Wales. This opened the door to many opportunities to network and develop his contacts within the music industry in the United Kingdom.

Rob began working in Radio with Padare Radio in 2008 and through this work, learnt to enjoy working with emerging African Artists. Since that time, Rob has activly worked on promoting and developing channels for African Artists to expose their music to the European Market and as part of the Visions FM Family, Rob is really excited to be leading the AfriKHUN Pulse team going forward.

Moses Machekanyanga

Moses is possibly one of the most dynamic sound producers in the business. As part of the AfriKHUN Pulse team, Moses takes the time to ensure program quality and content integrity.

Born in Gweru in Zimbabwe, Moses worked within the Musical department of a number of schools in Zimbabwe, coaching and encouraging children to develop their musical talents. Having moved to the United Kingdom in 2005, Moses and Rob began working together as the opportunity for the AfriKHUN Pulse program came together, and now as Sound Manager Moses is dedicated to ensuring that our listeners get the best quality for their listening pleasure.

Chris Winwood

Chris is a uniquely talented young man, with an eye for detail and a knack for getting the best results for the team. Responsible for our marketing and web presence, Chris brings humor and vitality to the team with his youth and abundant energy.

Born in the United Kingdom, Chris has always been a mad music fan, and when he met Rob, he learnt to really enjoy African Music, and now is a huge fan of much of the amazing talent that passes over our desks. Chris is also committed to learning the process behind Radio, and is excited about the future for AfriKHUN Pulse. As a part of the team, he is actively involved in bringing the AfriKHUN Pulse experience to a whole wider community, developing our global reach, and opening new doors of opportunity for the artists that we work with.
